     In Spring 2011, New Midway planted a rain garden and many trees to improve our school habitat. On April 25, 2012 our Woodsboro friends came together  to plant trees at Woodsboro.  These habitats will serve as outdoor classrooms.  Our students will be conducting hands-on activities throughout the year that will reinforce and support the learning going on in the classroom.  
     A very special thank you to our 5th Grade student mentors for helping with planting day, The Terra Rubra Lions Club for digging holes and volunteering to help with planting , Mr. Greg Wallace who donated his time and expertise,  and Ms. April Wells who helped us plan the habitats. Thank you everyone for all your help in establishing these habitats that enrich our school and our lives.
